Many of the master classes are also open to the public. Past master classes have been taught by students from Curtis Institute of Music; Jeffrey Solow, Temple University; Jeff Baumeister, BCCC; Gary Feinberg, TCNJ; Dr. Quincy Hilliard, Louisiana State University; Emily Threinen, Temple University; Grammy-award winning fiddler, Mark O’Connor; composer & performer, Chris Brubeck; urban pop duo Flutronix; and more.

September 10: Wooden Cities – improv workshops & ice-breaker activities for YOBC Junior/Intermediate students

October 2: US Coast Guard Woodwind Quintet – Wind Coaching & Performances

November 11: Ha-Ye Ni, Philadelphia Orchestra – Cello master class*

February 5, 2017: Jennifer Montone, Philadelphia Orchestra – French horn master class*

February 25, 2017: David Kim, Phildelphia Orchestra concertmaster – Violin master class
